This will only be a quick blog, And mainly photos, because I only spent 3 days in Kuala Lumpur on route to Vietnam. I did want to stay in KL rather than just passing through the airport, because I had heard good things about it.
I really enjoyed my time in KL. The transport system is easy to use. I caught the train from the airport into the city centre (think Gatwick express). I then got in a taxi from the central train station to my hotel. They don’t have Uber in KL, but a similar system called Grab. You don’t need to input card details either, but have the choice of paying cash, just download the app. My hotel was very near a monorail station, which I also used to get around.
While there I also used a hop on hop off sight-seeing bus, which took me to all the main spots. All in all, I can recommend a pit stop in KL, very clean, very accessible, great transport links and great people ❤️❤️
And finally…what was going on with this man’s finger nails, in front of me on the tour bus??? It grossed me out a bit!!
